Other hit for Kat Martin, anyone who has read any of her books know you can't go wrong .This is other suspenseful, fast moving story about some of the people we meet in her Texas Series,Harper is looking for her missing brother, knowing something is very wrong. She goes to Chasehead of Maximum Security who use to be her brother's best friend till he got into drugs.She has always had a crush on Chase but hopes she and he can work together to find Michael.There is bad blood between her father, Chase's father and Chase himself.There is lot's of action, danger, twist and turns and or course romance. Everything we love and except for Kat.Grab and copy and get started, my son bought mine and I loved it, can't wait for the next one.I was a little surprised that the other two preview books, "Wait until Dark " and After the Sunrise"both written before this book stories didn't carry over to this one. The man from both our here but the women in both stories are not and the guys seem like they are single ?? That was a little disappointing.
Did not like this one at all. If you're into completely implausible, sometimes ridiculous situations and a good bit of random sex, this book is for you. If you're more interested in an actual plot and some believable action, skip this. I think this is part of a series. I won't be reading the rest of them. Bleccchhh...
First, I LOVE that there are many different cultures and races of people in this book. Thank you for a little diversity.I love that the main characters we imperfect and the heroine was not just a damsel in distress. She was capable of helping out too when it came to the action scenes.More than anything, I loved the story. The places were well described without being overdone... and I'm from Dallas, so thanks for doing such a good job placing the characters here!
I enjoy reading Kat Martin’s books, and this one is no exception. Her characters are interesting, and the storyline had me wondering how the rescue could turn out all right. Justice in a book is always a huge plus in my enjoyment of the story, and I love the way she handled it. Plus...weddings! Love, romance and weddings...WOW! I am glad this is a series, and I am looking forward to the next one.
Kat Martin always delivers the goods.Mystery,suspense and thrills, not forget the romance.Non stop action.I tried to put this one down and get some sleep.But I ended up getting up again so it's 12:37 and I just finished.
Loved this book. Chase and Harper together are wonderful. Full of surprises and twists. I just finished reading 📖 this book and enjoyed it so much. Thank you.
